About
The Waste Stack is independent writing on waste management systems and green engineering — explainers, teardowns of new announcements, and myth-busting grounded in primary sources.
What gets published
- Explainer
- How a process actually works, step by step — the mechanism, the inputs, and where it breaks down at scale.
- Teardown
- A new plant, product or announcement read against what was actually demonstrated, signed or measured.
- Myth-Busting
- Widely repeated claims about waste checked against the evidence, with the practical version of the answer.
How it's sourced
Every post links the primary material it relies on — papers, permits, filings, regulator guidance and operator statements — in a references block at the foot of the piece. Photographs are openly licensed and credited; diagrams are drawn for the article. Where the evidence is thin, the post says so rather than filling the gap.
